today was fun but real tiring.
went as a volunteer for this 2 day children's camp.
purpose of the camp was to boost the children confidence.
learnt quite a few things about kids.

one thing.
they are really shy when you first meet them.
but when you get to know them, they really get HYPER.
i really mean
HYPER.
run here run there.
so we gotta chase here chase there.
hahaz.
but was quite fun lahhs.
so anyways.
saturday was the first day there.
went to fengshan pri school.
had some ice breakers.
played whacko.
hahaz.
common game.
but its nice to see them trying real hard to remember our names.
hehs.
after that was some other games.
forgot le.

anyways, lunch was to be cooked by the children themselves.
with SOLID FUELS.
remind me of obs.
hahaz.
but this time, they provide them with quite yummy food.
crabstick.
hotdog.
maggi mee.
etc etc.
the children didnt really did much of the cooking though.
cos they werent supposed to go near the fire.
it means that they cant do anything.
so its more of the volunteers cook for the children while they sit and watch us cook.
=)
good experience for them i think.
last time when i was in pri school didnt had such experience until sec school.
they pri 1 have such experience le.
lucky them.

after lunch was MORE GAMES.
hahaz.
tiring tiring.
play finish the games le.
they still ask, "got anymore games to play??"
me and yunzhen was like "hah??? not tired ahhhs??"
hahaz.
ahhhs~!! realised how little my energy level was as compared to them.
lao le lao le.
but not THAT lao.
hehs.
so yupps.
the camp for that day ended with a debrief and off we go.
to sleep.

next day which was today.
hahaz.
zhen and i taught them some cheers.
hahaz.
they do till very cuteee.
especially the oooo ahhh ahhh ahh one.
hehs.

must say that they did open up today.
REAL HYPER.

ytd some didnt wanted to do the cheer.
still covered their ear.
hahaz.
but today.
they shout like crazehhh~!!

so camp ended at 3 plus.

overall, the camp was meaningful.
got to know the children better.
also remind me of my childhood days.

especially the way they express themselves.
one eg. which i remembered.
very funny one.
cos they were playing this stepping balloon game.
so 3 teams played against each other.
one team got extremely many balloons left.
so the other two teams were not very satisfied.
they decided to combine powers to attack the team that had alot of balloons left.
LOL.

i'm gonna sleep at 10pm today.
