a simple five letter word.
yet when you put them together and tries to comprehend, it becomes not so simple afterall.

i think, its hard to define the word trust.

many times, we trust unknowingly.

you board the bus to school, trusting that the bus driver will drive carefully.
you purchase your food from the canteen vendor, trusting that they have handled your food properly.
you head down to that particular hair salon, trusting that he/she will not ruin your hair.
you consult the doctor, trusting that the doctor will give you the right prescription.

and the list goes on...

you trust.

sometimes, dont you think its funny how we actually take sucha short time trusting a complete stranger?

and when it comes to trusting yourself or a friend, we take a much longer time.

well maybe,
its a different type of trust.

i was told.

its never easy to trust and we are never so vulnerable than when we trust someone.
but paradoxically, if we cannot trust, neither can we find love or joy.

i think,
its very true.
