time is really FLYING.
we're in 30th of March.
kinda freaky when i'm like one day closer to the O's when each day is over.
but on the other hand, its also a good thing.
get it over and done with.
so that i wont have to brood over this matter and get all stressed up.

but come to think of it.
studying in singapore is really stressful.
there's so many MAJOR exams.
firstly, PSLE.
then, O's.
then, A's.
you get a degree after that.
but it's NOT ENOUGH.
you have a degree, everyone else has one too.
so you go for another degree.
probably master.
but you want to upgrade yourself so as to get promoted easily.
so, you go for an even higher degree.
this will never end.
it will never come to a stop.
a chinese phrase, "yi shan bi yi shan gao".
direct translation, "one mountain pen one mountain tall "

so the real meaning is, "you're good, but there's always someone who's BETTER than you."
and to me, i think its true.
you get a diploma, there's someone else with a master.
you get a master, there's someone else with a doctorate.
one has to really consistently upgrade and improve.
if you dont improve and there's someone else better than you, your boss might just fire you any moment and hire the guy better than you.
it is a competitive world.

so i sort of linked from being very stressful when one studies in singapore to a competitive world we live in.

after talking bout all these.
i really wonder.
ten years down the road.
what will i become?
pretty hard to imagine.
will i be like a successful career woman?
or one struggling to just survive?
or a housewife with 2 kids?
and the list goes on.
it's really hard to imagine.
i mean, my future ahead is still very blurred.
i never know whats gonna happen.
thats why they say life's unpredictable.
and the thing is i still have no ambition.
i used to have an ambition.
that is to be a spy.
but then, that ambition was when i was pri 4.
and i come to realise that it's IMPOSSIBLE.

watched too many dramas.

and now, my ambition is very unstable.
meaning one moment, i might want to be a singer.
and the next moment, i might want to be a business woman.

mainly cos i cant sing well.
